RE:Nothing Positive Right Now for ENB it SeemsFrom everything I've read, there are multiple reasons ENB has been on the decline recently
1. They have massive amounts of debt
2. The Line 3 replacement is still pending
3. They were downgraded by Moodys
4. Uncertaity around NAFTA
5. The CAD $ has gone up to .81 which affected ENB share price
6. Last but not least, their payout ratio is about 120%
They need to reduce debt (which they are working on), and hopefully try to get that payout ratio down. I'm confident Line 3 will get approved and NAFTA is up for debate. Guess we'll have to see. I might buy another 100 shares if the price dips below $44 again. My average price is $48.80 at 200 shares so this dip doesn't feel so great for me either.
On the upside, I have a super long time horizon (40+ years) so I'm not too worried.
