RE:Largest U.S crude oil storage and export terminal by volumeBeauty. Acquiring actual, useful assets is good to see vs the green garbage they keep feeding the public the last few years. Let's hope they acquire more on the east coast
DeepTrueShip wrote: Enbridge Ingleside Energy Center (EIEC)
EIEC is the largest crude oil storage and export terminal by volume in the United States. The terminal is strategically located in Ingleside, Texas with access to marine waterfront, a gateway to international shipping lanes, and pipeline connectivity, making it a cost-advantaged location for storing and exporting crude oil and other products.
EIEC is a critical link connecting growing Permian and Eagle Ford production to international markets. The terminal has direct connectivity to “next-generation,” long-haul crude pipelines such as Cactus I, Cactus II, Gray Oak, EPIC, and Harvest.
Layout of the Enbridge Ingleside Energy Center (EIEC). Click on the image to see a larger version. EIEC crude storage infrastructure
- Current storage capacity totals ~15.3 MMBbls
- Major storage capacity includes 7 x 350,000 and 26 x 495,000-barrel tanks
- Drain-dry tanks with internal floating roofs minimize inventory heels
- State-of-the-art manifold capable of receiving multiple pipelines at mainline rates into all tanks
- Segregated capacity to control quality of various crude grades
- Blending and tank-to-tank transfers
EIEC marine infrastructure
- 3 deep-water vessel berths with current operations capable of loading 1 VLCC, 1 Suezmax, and 1 Aframax with dual VLCC loading capabilities expected in 2H 2021
- Fastest loading rates in the US Gulf Coast (combined 160,000 bph)
- Vessel turnaround ~24 hours
- Proximity to open water enhances shipping efficiencies and reduces emissions
- Minimal port congestion
- Advantaged draft (45’ going to 52’ by 2H 2022)
EIEC additional infrastructure
- 3 x 80,000 clean marine fuel storage
- 2 x 40,000 LPG spheres with refrigeration equipment
- 925 acres of land with significant footprint available for future growth
