RE:RE:Sold my Enbridge today..... High costs to put new assets in the ground just means existing assets are even more valuable, and less competition.
North America needs more energy. Existing energy infrastructure assets will produce decent long term returns.
My only concern would be shale fracking gas / oil well depletion. Not what the life expectancy on this US boom is but that would be a big hit to our numbers.
Energy in one form or another is going to need transportation. Whether it's RNG, H2, oil/gas used to make plastics required in just about everything in modern life.
