Enbridge Inc. stock rises Friday, still underperforms market

I expect Enbridge will only increase as earnings approaches and should then outpace the market.  It will be nice to see what increased capacity on line 3 and new terminal aquisition has brought in.

As the economy rebounds, demand is likely to outpace production.  Definite upward pressure of the stock price.

Your observation inspires me to look at the yearly performance of ENB comparing to the Dow and TSX indices. In my mind ENB has a pretty good performance in the past. However, the following table, showing the performance of investing n years in ENB, shows that it is not. DJIA and TSX are growing steadily but ENB is not. Perhaps it goes back to the choice of growth or dividend stock. I guess, when

Thank you autofocus111 for offering such interesting investment ideas. It is so true that we have to adjust our portfolio periodically. I just would like to point out that Dow Jones Industrial Average include the high tech companies such as Microsoft/Apple and pharm such as Merch which is not a straight and easy comparison to ENB.
