Just Picked up ENB for 1st Time

I have owned Trp often through the years (not for last 2 years), but for some reason this is the first time buying Enbridge. At $45.35 this seems like it should have a nice upside.

Of course it could fall more this week, but 
imo it should see a gradual increase from here. The year low before today was $46.15. Worst case I will collect the $.89 dividend on December 1.

Congrats on pulling the trigger, you must have done so shortly before the close.  Despite the naysayers, I think things will be looking up soon for the company and the share price . . .

Oh dont ever say " the worst case "  when it comes to energy.  The worst case scenario can be they shut down Line 5, not only do not increase but decrease or drop their dividend and the stock will come crashing down like a dart from the Eiffel tower..   I bought CPG and WCP a long long time ago and said those last words  " Whats the worst that can happen ?

That's very true, I did give some thought to Line 5, but I hope and believe the reroute will proceed without the line being shut-in. Meanwhile the next dividend has already been declared so at least the next one is guanteed. I actually really like WCP and it has done well in last 2 or 3 years and imo will continue to do well just like I believe ENB will do well. That doesn't mean there won

RBC is selling ENB shares at $44.70.  I am not sure if there are any left as of this evening.  However, since the closing price is a bit above the offer, should we not expect cheaper shares on the open market in the near future.
