As a REAL investor in ENB, I find it disturbing that as the price of oil has been going up, the share price of ENB has gone south. What is the incentive for investing, or should we just hand over our money for free?

Long term investors have come to realize when oil goes up ENB goes down, and when oil goes down ENB also goes down. Additionally, the vast majority of news releases, good or bad, result in a stock price drop.   Those 5.5 % GIC's looking pretty good right about now eh ?

Enbridge moves and stores oil and does not produce or sell it so it sees very little upside to oil price increases.  The oil price generally reflects the oil demand which is a sign of how much oil will be transported and how much pipes can expect to earn but the price is actually being manipulated up and down by supply constraints while demand is staying relatively steady so earnings from

Thank you for posting your comment. I know and understand the business ENB operates and I did not state that ENB is a oil producer. What I meant to say is that if the demand for oil and gas is accelerated than it travels from point A to the customer and with storage facilities (oil and gas) and an enormous amount of pipelines, than the company should make money, don’t you agree?  Share price
