RE: er

RE: erI echo your sentiments Silverton, "ER, one of the few bright lites out there. Be Right and Sit Tight, ER longs."

I did however make it down to the conference and had a nice long talk with Don, Cathie and Chad. Most of what we discussed was information available in the recent news releases. Drilling about to start on the Eastmain site, the drill is ready to go at Ruby hill, just waiting for a crew which should be available in the next week or two. The next phase of drilling is to start on Eau Claire by the 23rd as well. The Goldcorp release on El South should be out shortly and everyone seemed, by my impression, very positive it would be complimentary.

The opening panel discussion at the conference discussed the current and future prospects for junior companies looking for capital and from what was said it was a very good thing we were able to raise the funds when we did and at a price double where we were at the beginning of the year. Cathie also mentioned that there was initially $30M offered by Genuity, Laurentian and McQuarie but in the best interests of shareholders it was decided to accept $14M. In my opinion this speaks volumes about the quality of not only Eastmain's properties but also of  management.

Of particular note is the fact that in the last few weeks Eastmain has been invited by Kinross to present for their management team. I would imagine if they have expressed this level of unsolicited interest they are serious about taking a position in our little company. It would appear that more suitors are showing up at the dance to court the "Belle of the Ball", Eastmain. Be right and sit tight.
