RE: what do people do on Canada day?

RE: what do people do on Canada day?We celebrate Canada Day much like the fourth of July only instead of red, white and blue we are in a sea of red and white with the Maple Leaf worn and flown everywhere. Here in Vancouver the largest celebrations and gatherings in the country are being held this year , second only to the festivities on Parliament Hill in the national capitol of Ottawa. Fireworks, parades, free concerts, street parties and the ceremonial swearing in of new Canadian citizens all play a roll in the celebrations. Generally a day to give thanks for the greatest place to live in the world, all in our very humble Canadian opinion of course. Again, Happy Canada Day everyone and an early Happy Fourth of July to all our American neighbours!
