Yup, Lemasson was bought in 2015, see 10 November NR, Sedar link below (agreed that this was not that well advertised).

He was appointed as director to the BoD as an experienced fellow by Don R. (presumably) to provide his project management (Red Lake and Eleonore projects) expertise for developing the  Clearwater project into a mining operation. This was before the proxy saga (started by Columbus) started.

Then ICG came in with a 9.9% strategic investment and Lemasson was appointed as CEO and Don R resigned his position. The rest was history.

My speculation was that Lemasson appointment (and ICG investment) were "blessed" by G (and agreed by Columbus, the renegate shareholder).

This chess game is not quite finished, and we may be in for a few surprises.
