RE:RE:I think the takeover is positive for ER

RE:RE:I think the takeover is positive for ERThanks for the “history lesson”,  I’ve actually been a shareholder since 2015 October so I’ve seen a few things happen here including the shareholder activism that resulted in the retirement of Dr. Don.

I’m aware that Goldcorp was not happy with the change in management at ER and voted with their feet, but they continue to hold significant stakes in other explorers in the district around Eleonore.
What the takeover of Goldcorp will do is force a strategic review of all the holdings in the combined company.  My point is that whether that review results in Newmont keeping or divesting the Eleonore mine, eventually a more committed owner/operator ends up in the camp.

I think that the mistake made with the PEA was to try to squeeze a square orebody into a round hole.  Eat Claire makes most sense as a larger lower grade pit with a lot of potential for supplemental feed from nearby satellite deposits, and a smaller, higher grade underground operation later in mine life.  What the PEA presents is a pit that’s too small to warrant building a mill IMO.

I am interested in how you think a junior explorer like ER could generate internal revenue.  Maybe a Northern Lights casino?.  I’m no happier than other shareholder to see the kind of dilution that has occurred in the last two years with so little to show.  They should have realized that they were wasting money generating a PEA that was not going to attract any interest, and instead spent the money on drill bits creating value.
