TD bank comment on gold prices today! Positive Stuff!

We have increased our gold price deck to reflect our expectation of a continued supportive environment for the next several years.

Our 2021 gold price increases to $2,100/oz (from $1,850/oz, +13.5%) and our 2022 forecast has increased to $2,000/oz (from $1,900/oz, +5.2%). We have also increased our silver price deck, forecasting $27.50/oz for 2021 (previously $22.50/oz, +22%) and $25.00/oz for 2022 (previously $23.00/oz, +9%).

Our long-term gold and silver prices are unchanged at $1,500/oz and $20.00/oz,

A little concerned about the possible long term gold price but a very bullish scenario according to TD!. If ESM has any potential ,at all, surely they should be able to build a mine or sell their assets under this scenario .

There is no time like the present ESM   so get  your dierriere moving. !!!

Don't forget that ESM has 1.42 billion pounds of copper and it has been on a nice run and is up to $3.18 today. It started 2020 at $2.82, went as low as $2.10 and has a great recovery.

Good point moose. There is a tendency to overlook copper.  Copper is a much more significant industrial metal so if this car electrification trend takes off ,copper may be more attractive than gold in regards to potential buyers . --------- While conventional cars have 18-49 pounds of copper, hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) contain approximately 85 pounds, plug-in

When Chinese economy went into the tank, so did copper. their recovery probably has something to do with increase in copper price as it is used in so many things.

Hey Moose  Given that copper is an industrial metal tied to trends like electruc cars ,world economy etc where as gold valuations can vary considerably do you think ESM with the new directors etc may be more inclined to build the mine themeselves .? In my mind, copper can mitigate against possible downside risk with gold pricing while still allowing more return than a buyout . Also, if

In this uncertain climate I will take a buyout every time. I have been in junior mining companies during a mine build and there are always cost overruns, delays, further financings and dilution... all end up costing more. If you can tell me they will be mining in 2 years at $2000 gold i'm in, otherwise show me the money and I will move to the next one. Or sell Rovina and Ciresata and keep the
