RE: More on derivatives.Thanks...that was an interesting article. I laughed at this line though... The managers of these funds have been compensated greatly to eventually take the fall. Hmmmm...like whom?...the Arimath trader who had another fund up and running, I think within a year?....many people will remember that a fund called Arimath collapsed, but how many will remember that guy's name?....these guys do not take a "fall"...they take their money and move on.... when an investor in such funds losses their capital, the managers are not going into their pocket to return some of that "great compensation", so as to make up some of the losses incurred by their flock...extrodinary incomes created by smoke screen valuations from which their remuneration is determined....the only one's taking the fall are the investors, not the managers sitting in his already bought and paid for cottage estate in the country. regards;
