exm Stock certificate question?

exm Stock certificate question?Does anyone know what needs to be done with existing exm stock certificates after the merge?  (In my case, I hold the U.S. listed certificates-exmff).

If I remember correctly, my dad used to have some certificates from other companies that were merged with  a change in ticker symbols and we were able to negotiate them years later when we signed and turned the certificates in.

Anyone know for a fact if you can just keep the old exmin certificates until you want to turn them in years from now????

I don't want to trade the cert in if I don't have to because my broker no longer issues certificates.  (PART OF THE NEW MODERN DAY FINANCIAL SYSTEM SCAM WE ARE FORCED TO ACCEPT AND LIVE WITH).

Any help is appreciated,
