I don't think you are missing anything.  That is how the consolidation would be handled and it is not a "pocket liner" for top management.  I do agree, though, that management should be using the buyback to combat the flagrant manipulation/price pounding that is going on as a result of 500 share trades.  They should be using the buyback as a tactical tool to combat this and stimulate some positive momentum in the share price, and it would not require "boatloads" of cash to do so.  I have recommended this to them many times but they just are content to watch the shares ge t hammered...I don't get it?????  Here's hoping somebody on the Board will think this through and take some action.
