EV prices must fall and ...

the prices for EVs have to drop dramatically or demand will drop
I hear the entry level average price is over $70k
Any one have the #s on how much or if EXRO actually brings a substantial savings in production

Team Eddie..... Great post.....you hear the average price is $70K? Why not do a little research and report back? Now Exro has published info on cost savings already.....did you not see it? Don't believe it? And who on this board would know more than what the Co publishes? You do realize that each implementation is unique, right? A soft attempt at FUD? Or are you really that.....st**i*!

entry level for an EV is $70k and your emotional reply does not help people looking at this board see a reason why EXRO may do well but then again assuming you have at least 100k shares you are down what $50k in Oct your emotional replies make sense

Brother, you just lost all credibility in my and everyone else's eyes! Tesla M3 is more affordable than Toyota Camry now.  No offense if you were uninformed, Tesla does not market itself, owners and cars on the street does marketing for them for free, thus is why they lowered prices so much (ps. also for gathering data as well). Tesla is my 2nd biggest position after Exro, for the record.

so if an ENTRY level M3 is $54,990 before all fees and taxes in Canada and I say the AVERAGE entry level price is $70k  please explain how it is wrong - and then apologize

Who cares about Canada, we are talking USA, that is where the $$$ and real tech advancements are made. Charging grid development too. In USA, you can get one below 30k. Take out Lucid and Rivian with their non-sensical pricing and average will drop significantly. No need to apogise for a misleading premise.

P.S. there is also, up To $5,000 Federal iZEV Incentive for Canadians. Lowering it to less than 50k.

You sound silly now the stats are not mine and clearly the post is factual as if the prices for EVs do not drop demand will   - now if you skip your emotional response based on being down the statement should not threaten you THIS IS SIMPLE if the prices for EVs do not drop demand will  and then I asked how much EXRO can help them drop prices and two people in distress over being ...more

Exro's techology with 50 % more efficiency and 20% less cost will become a must driving factor for auto manufacturing.

That reply will help people looking at the board make a choice good work

But somehow there is no  investment in shares by any of the car or electric motor manufacturers. Funny how all of them worldwide somehow have missed the "Must have" opportunity to buy in and control the  golden egg business.

They are in the process of testing the tech pal thats how it works

If you're not moving ahead your falling behind
Comment by SIMPLICITI1 on Oct 30, 2023 3:32pm
Team Eddie, As to your "FACTS".  From EV Auto Publication 1 In July 2023, the average price Americans paid for a new EV was $53,633. In August 2023, the price fell by $257 to $53,376. Those averages do not take the most recent reductions from TESLA which as you should now can influence on the average given their volume.  From that you can reduce the price by up to ...more

Simpl    I don't want to get between you and Team Eddie but the last 4 paragraphs of your post were spot on. I read 3 or 4 articles on EV's over the weekend. They all basiclly said the same thing. Their largest problem is cost. That should fall right in into Exro's wheel house. I do wonder why the OEMS insist on 12 months for certification. It seems to me that if I was losing ...more

"OEMS insist on 12 months for certification."? Where is that from . I asked last week and no response. It makes no sense to me.

Pay attention to Exro web casts.

You cannot state you have a very large position and then watch it fall 50% and call other people stupid  I assume by big you mean over 100k shares meaning you are downm $150,000 on the year making you a horrific investor  And as for your ignorance of retail traders mindsets you can be damn certain the EV sector woes effect it and with no demand as the supply increases the price just ...more

Team Eddie, I am happy to keep embarrassing you every time you post your nonsense.  It's kinda fun now!
Comment by TeamEddie on Oct 30, 2023 11:25pm
Ummm I seriously dont think that is the case I said the entry level was $70k and posted a link stating so and you said not it is $53500 USD which is $70k cad like the article I linked  And you keep skipping the part where you let the value of a position fall 50% like a deer in the headlights and you call people dumb? Buddy on 100k thats $150,000 you have may think your brilliant but your pnl ...more
Comment by Rokas92 on Oct 31, 2023 9:16am
I specifically mentioned M3 is less than a camry, meaning less than 30k USD

"The trend has helped push the average price for an EV to almost $73,000, according to Canadian Black Book, making it well out of reach for most households. That’s true even with signs of downward pressure from Tesla price drops." https://vancouver.citynews.ca/2023/10/22/evs-easier-to-find-high-prices-many-canadians/
