RE: NEWS......No Appeals FiledThis is very good and telling news because Xstrata did not oppose the NPDES. While Xstrata was in a position to appeal the NPDES and fight this on two fronts, they chose to get out of the way for reasons only they know. It could be that they see that nothing will be able to stop this project from moving forward at this point. It has too much going for it both environmentally as a template for other responsible mining ventures, and economically as a boost to the local and state economies. Or they may just simply recognize this as a fight they shouldn't be fighting.
We are almost there, 2011 (production year) is just around the corner. I didn't realize that this had so many corners. Geometrically what would you call that?
