Troubling

TroublingWe all new that at some point this would happen that cobalt would be replaced in Lithium batteries, but I did not think that the research would be this far along.
Researcers at  North Western school of engineering backed by US department of engineering have developed a Lithium battery that replaces cobalt with iron.
Also Nano One (v.nno) has successfully completed a High Voltage Spinel Project (whatever that means) that is developing cobalt free cathode material for lithium ion batteries backed by the Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistant Program.
I do not know anything about the Engineering, Technology, or procees involved and hopefully this is still years away from this actually being applicable.
I understand that the high concentrate cobalt ECS will produce has other applications for aircraft makers, etc, so this may not affect ECS.
The fact that replacement cobalt batteries are backed by the US and Canadian Governments is troubling.
Cobalt is at its all time high in a decade and the only fully permitted cobalt mine in the US with advanced development (100 million spent) and should be in production in 2019, this should not effect the share price short to mid term but as an investor in ECS, I feel that it is neccessary to discuss.
Hopefully this is not the cause of the recent downturn.
Feed Back is welcome.
