RE:Sector

RE:SectorI agree right now i'm not liking how this stock has been acting, I thought by now the technicals would have lined up with the fundamentals but our uptrend seems to have been halted in the short-term...

Seems surprising to me considering how other uranium stocks have been performing, the general sentiment in the sector is pretty positive (compared to recent history) and we're certainly in the right jurisdiction, with the right property, and (at least publicly) have a lot of analysts following us.  Also we're about 2 weeks into a massive drill program with lots of news coming down the pipes soon...

In short I don't quite get why we are down on the week, now I understand that the markets just went though a mini-correction but I would have expected us to rally the last 2 days at least most of that positon back...

Could be we're a victim of our own success, as in we had an excellet 2013 while a good number of other uranuim stock fell pretty hard, DML down to about $1, UEX to .30 and they've outpreformed us simply because they were too beaten down and we on the other hand had already more expectation priced in...  I do think this can be relevant especially if you think there's only a finite about of money entering into the uranium space right now and certain other stocks (namely DML) are, in a way, stealing our thunder...  Not that I want FCU to go for cheap, but if FCU or DML were bought out sooner rather then later that I think would free up a lot of cash for those that are still keen to keep that money in this sector, as that money would probably filter into other uranium plays..

Now I'm not ruling out manipulation, that could be going on... But it is too easy to blame it on that..  But once again, if we are being manipulated in anticipation for a cheap takeover then I would rather be bought out for cheap now then later.. However like I said, ideally I would not like to see this stock go cheap at all!

In short it seems like either the infill is going to have look seriouly impressive or a new high grade zone or 2 will have to be found to get this stock moving again it seems..  I do think it will get there, we just have to be patient, stay the course and I think we will be pleasanly surprised in the end..
