Advocates and DetractorsI had a funny observation, the advocates post links and information to validate the basis of their position. The detractors, well they mostly just do not agree with the prevailing opinion and provide a little narrative on why.
We know there is a measured resource that is shallow and also growing in size. We know the owner has a desire to sell the asset. We know that some folks are interested in our asset and signed an NDA.
We know from comparable sales history, an approximate value of the resource.
We do not know the results of an economic assessment, who has signed an NDA or what the absolute total resource may be on the PLS property. We do not kow when an offer to purchase will be presented.
We debate the price day in and day out because we are sitting in "wait mode" for a development. Most have been long on this play for quite some time and now that the prize is coming into focus, we are all gettting ready to celebrate. Now after all of this speculation, exploration and waiting, why would we want to hurry up and sell this week? From a different look, how about letting the winter and summer programs continue to delineate teh resource that we desire to sell and maximize the end result to our benefit? That seems to be the best outcome for anyone who has been a part of the PLS play for any length of time.
Naysayers need to be heard, and they do have valid opinions. The same is true for the advocates. Is a naysayer telling you this to encourage you to sell, or to be heard? Is anyone on the BB really going to draw up short and sell right now? Is the purpose of naysaying on this board really to hold down the price or is it a way to be different and engaging? I have continued to add to my position since the fall '14 bottom, believing that a takeout will come after the summer this year. I have thought this for a while now. I joined this BB after the maiden resource was announced to see what the general sentiment is toward the future. For me, I hope to see more positive results this winter, expanded delineation of the Triple R and consider a second discovery would be a true blessing.
I look for $2.75 to $3.15 this summer and will be very grateful for the ride.
