Prime meat in a stale bun!FCU has the meaty prime goods....DML looks like a moldy old stale bun. In any case this sad-wich has left an ugly taste in investors mouths.
Why would I like to trade a 3-5$ future share price (near future) for a $1 long term price if even that? I believe that FCU could have been even higher! My personal feeling.
We do not have to swallow it!!
Fact: share prices have declined with the deal. It is not just the market.
DML shares are on the decline too. Threat of new mgmt. no doubt. DML shareholders would be wise to run also!
How much real value does FCU have? That is an undetermined amount; as drilling has continually proven up more and more lbs. of U.
How did FCU & Co. put the 1.26 ratio values on our shares when the real true value of FCU is UNKNOWN?
If they did it on the 43-101, then anything drilled and proven up after that is value we are giving away....and...... for what? Drilling looks very positive.
As long as I followed DML it was like a row boat in the water with only one short oar! Someone is trying to persuade us that this is a good boat ride.
In case anyone from FCU happens to read this: Give us a clear, concise, logical reason, based on real values, and some measure of proof, that this will be better for us!! Pulling imaginary 1.26 numbers out of thin air just does not cut it.........good deal or not. Just trust me scenario.....doesn't fly with me!
To go into the actual mining business would be a breach of trust, as it was always stated that; FCU was in exploration and not mining! Mining....at least 12-16 years ahead. I invested in an exploration company....period.
I once invested in an exploration company that switched to mining......total disaster. To get a producing mine would suck all the resources of both companies and add massive dilution. Now, more that ten years later......a possible small return.....certainly not as much as the original investment. FAIR WARNING about taking on mining!
To end my ramblings I would like to quote Mark Twain on gold mines;

Hmmmmm......... wonder if it applies to Uranium too??
