CRAZY. They do more harm than good when they fight Nuclear. What happens is not enough energy ends up coming from solar/wind and then the carbon producing options have to pick up the slack.....
Quakes posted an awesome talk (think it was a Ted Talks) from an "environmentalist" that had changed his mind and it had amazing statistics. For example, he claims Germany had 2% LESS energy from wind last year than the year before - why - becuase it was less windy lol. Similar to solar. So they use France's nuclear and/or have to supplement with fossil fuels and as a result in some years have had HIGHER emmissions.
That sure as hell sounds GREEN to me. Sheesh.
