That is one of the reasons uranium has been such a difficult commodity to follow and understand. Even the famous Rick Rule admitted the market is very opaque.
So where will the power plants get uranium in the future? Probably from the same place they have been getting it from for the past few years. Maybe seconday markets. Maybe shut down Japanese plants unloading their huge inventories. No one seems to really know.
That is why uranium is a huge investment gamble.
