Thinking the same thing, let them buy now while price is low. Since board has approved to start buying back this quarter, hopefully the TSX rubber stamps it soon.  There are some rules they must follow, so hopefully, they use the most knowledgeable and skilled broker at timing this as aggressively as possible.  I don't rely on any Mgt skills coming from CC/FEC/CGX on anything. Based on such low volume, an agressive buyback program  could bring price back fast.

Here is the quote on the amount of shares 10% of the float, it is not nearly as much as it sounds.

"Lastly, from a shareholder initiatives standpoint, Frontera intends to implement a normal course issuer bid to permit the purchase of up to 10% of its public float or approximately 3.8 million shares over the next year as mentioned by Gabriel, which is subject to the approval of the TSX."

Here is a question I have, if there are multiple interests in debt free and now Independent subsidiary Frontera Guyana, what would happen to CGX if H. Lokey brokered a deal to sell Frontera Guyana with FEC's CGX shares included in the deal?
