RE:RE:The Shrinking Corentyne ZoneIt is all about the money and the Substantial lost value in Frontera Guyana/CGX assets... they went from 6200 sq km, to 4709 sq km in Dec 2017 (25% reduction penalty) to having approx 3400 sq km in March Presentation (another 25% reduction penalty) meaning they had lost the southern half of the Corentyne block, and now to just 993.9sq km remaining in the block according to outside news this week. They appear to have done all the required work since losing the 2nd 25%. Including completing the required 2020 resource report that is now much lower in those Corentyne estimated resources.
Sporty, I must have missed it do you know why they ended up losing 5/6th of the block?
Also, please point out to me where we were notified that the block was cut down to only 993.9 sq km, all I saw was the appraisal area was approved for 993.9 sq km, not that the block had been reduced to that. Where were we told that by FEC/CGX? TIA.
