Let's do our best to keep this board clean and relevant. We are going to have a few annoying f*cks keep repeating the same things over and over. IMO best is to not engaged in an ongoing mess as it does drown out good posts. This should be a place where we share relevant information and opinions. Investors helping each other.
It's true that I am relatively new to FIRE. But I have done my DD and been an investor for over 20 years. I have my background in mining and farming both as boots-on-the-ground and later an investor. So I am used to long investment cycles. It's a rare combo that gives me a lot of discipline and patience. Something certain people here clearly lack.
Oh no, I did thank all our fellow longs for their time and DD. (How could I have forgotten such common courtesy!). It's just that your name pops out more spontaneously because I remember you posting your very large position. I even saved a screenshot of that post so I can go back and and smile at it some day when our share price mimics those price movements of Tweed a few years back.
BigInvestor: I have not done any DD on the company you mentioned (Axuly). I only invest in companies for which I have a reasonable level of confidence. My background is in BioChem so I'm sure there are folks here who are much more competent than I am when it comes to financial analysis. The only thing I can't do my DD on is to sample Fire's products, but I'm thrilled to see the stellar feedback I've read so far (outside of this board also). I believe excellent products is what bolstered my confidence in the company. I'm thinking of ordering some Fire products and give them out to my acquaintances and see what they think. I'm tapped out in my TFSA so most likely I'll buy more in my RRSP and my non-registered accounts.
