Looks like Bissco entering Ontario

Tweet from blissco:
Tired of rolling your own? Blissco pre-rolls are convenient and ready to go. Now available in BC, MB, SK, AB and NB. Coming to ON soon. #wholeflower #wholeyou #stayhome

Besides whole flower pre-rolls from 7acres - well get some blissco pre-rolls too.

I would imagine them adding pur dew cbd oil and their new 1:5 sugar leaf oil which should have some good demand. (apparently popular)

finally - i wonder if Blissco addition to ON is required for the vapes as well - as they are processed/made at blissco facility.

This could be a precursor to a whole suite of products being added to Ontario market.

The sugar leaf cbd oil seems to be a great product at a cheap price. The demand will be huge. It is comparable to soleil liberer cbd oil in term of price and concentration. Someone from sqdc told me it was their best seller for cbd oil. So now we have a cheap cbd oil and pur dew wich is at a higher price but a better quality. I like the fact that we have a product for every type of customers.

I like it too. No matter the growth area or popular market segment - you have products that can fulfill the need and generate revenue.  I wonder if the recent price drop for haze is a possible precursor to a new ultra premium strain? If you look at aphrias prices they have $7.30, $9.50, and 13.7 (broken coast) strains. Fire is sliding somewhere in between. Finding their niche.  as ...more

As always bringing up some good points there Johnale. I too wondered if the price drop was not only to stay competitive but to also make way for a more premium strain. I have seen 7acres post a few responses of 'stay tuned' regarding new strain offerings. I'm still waiting for that khalifa kush...that would easily live up to the ultra standard if grown at 7acres.  Ty for ...more

You also need to consider the fact that they may have gotten their cost per gram significantly low through efficiencies and economies of scale they they can drop their price, sell more, while maintaining the same margins.

maybe all of the above. well they had 200% increase in packaging and 400% increase in trim with automation and they cut 13% of production jobs.  pumping out 3x the amount of flower - I would expect a nice decrease in per gram cost.

the fact that pot distribuition has been declared an essential service speaks volumes of the commitment the government has taken to recognize the fact that medicinal pot is here to stay and the recreational pot helps people deal being cooped up in their homes. The benefit to the industry in inmeausurable since had this not occurred the black market would simply take over at the expense of ...more

As sales increase could be more economies of scale joh, with their net margins improving they can run a loss leader now and then to increase market share in a specific area. I haven't had any Broken Coast in a while but Haze is better, from what I can recall....all of the FIREmenu are of the nicest shelved to date. The 'ultra premium' was to be product of higher quality than Haze but ...more
