Where have most of you longs learned how to trade..any good books to read or maybe a mentor from the net..would really like to get some in depth knowledge of stocks for I'm just a beginner from last yr and finding out little bits and pieces here and there..

try to help you out a bit.. any book store or on line will have books.. they may help.. but i have found on the job training like most things will give you the knowledge needed.. learn by doing.. you will make mistakes. by that .. get caught in hype or panic and sell to soon. believe 10 percent of what you read here.. start small.. biggest thing is do your own research.. spend your time looking

ya brent is pissy because i warned about shorts.. brent is one of the more cleaver ones.. plays both sides of the fence ..so you think hes somewhat sincere.. im fine brent.. ive dine very well with my investments thanks.. jmho
