MMCap - method/stayinvested

What are your thoughts on MMCap owning 33% of this company - 90mil shares and the debt.

I know method you thought they liquidated already.

Maritime seems to be worried, I see this as a positive - ie they see more value than to just liquidate.

thoughts?

Truly the only thing Im worried about is MMcap forcing a sale of the business at a price below my high'ish Average. Other then that if they have a higher goal then could be a good thing as you said locking up a big chunk of shares.....just wish I knew their intentions.

Their Break Even is 41 Cents. They dont need the money and they didnt get in to break even; And they are on the Edge of this Market Exploding with Retail Expanding, Other Countries voting On Cannabis and U.S .... And as we stand Cannabis is the Only Buisness Sector Growing.

I believe all this started in January.   MMCAP provided Aphria $100 mil financing in January 2020 (I know it was spent elsewhere).  Did MMCAP tell them to ...more

Thanks for your take - I too am concerned that we are at the mercy of mm for a sellout as I mentioned.  I would say - an all cash transaction is very unlikely - as aphria won't want to burn that much cash - and the dilution to their share count would be minimal with their valuation at 1.8bil.  being in aphria - it would provide mm more liquidity to sell if they wanted.  I ...more

would be great if supreme can find a way to merge with another company instead... an entity with like minds etc.... public or not.... I also wonder why Beena would of taken on the role if a buyout from one of her prior employers was immenent. She has put in alot of work to clean things up just to be sold off at a price just below or above her options price.... to me personally i believe Beena ...more

Who knows - she's definitely strong and knows how to run the buisness.  but... she ran the Canadian cpg ops while Irwin ran USA.  (This is speculation on my part) : what if aphria buys-out supreme when USA legalized - and they did the same thing,  irwin oversees the USA expansion and Beena maintains control of Canadian OPS for aphria/supreme.    maybe that ...more

I'm sure the entire management team / BOD will be getting new options before the AGM next month so if the company gets sold, I'm sure she will do fine. I thought MM must have sold because the company didn't disclose the ownership in the management circular. It's kind of silly to not check with MM before filing or to withhold that information.  I think selling the whole ...more

We need to see the FQ1/21 report joh which will provide a much clearer picture of the status to date...there should be a much tighter balance sheet all round with what will hopefully be a healthy increase in product shelved and rotating at an acceptable rate. Any buying of FIRE will still be determined by Beena and the SHs unless MMCap can pick up another ~18+%....if this is the plan why would ...more

In my opinion, (since your not going to ask for it), no one is taking over nothing. Already invested so heavy their probably asking themselves how the f do I get outta this now, much like yourself. The dust trapped in the attic space above the grow has more recycable value then this, maybe can make cotton and sell shirts (kke not for me shirts). The empty pallets the nutrients come on are more ...more
