I have been a long time owner of this company and don't often check into this board. Could somebody give me the rationale as to why the company needs to be sold. A well run - be it a small company - with increasing recognition of its quality products always succeeds.

That’s the $64,000 question. Fire is a much better run company today than in the past.  But as you’ve stated it’s still a small company with a lot of competition in the canadian market. Can it do well going forward on it’s own? It's business way, we haven't seen all of the details yet but one thing is sure La Brier et al in the company must be onboard so it must be in the best interest of the company and it's SHs, I believe. We will get all the info betwwen now and the end of June and the meeting. It appears that like the small batch producers that FIRE just does not have the reach and access to shelve

It's being sold to buy Beena a job at Canopy. Her and CEO Canopy think US will Legalize but it isn't going to happen it may Decriminalize but no Legslization which keeps it all State bound. Biden recently fired people for past use in states where is is allowed . Canadian market Canopy and Supreme only have 15 percent of the market and Canopy Stock is trading 40 times current earnings

Agreed about Beena, but Federal legalization in the United States is imminent imo. The Feds would be really stupid leaving all that tax revenue they could collect on the table, especially now with all that money they're spending. This would be a billion dollar recurring revenue source for them. JMHO...

I would like to see the evidence supporting this Biden recently fired people from his staff for past use in states that allow it. Sure the Senate will pass it but it needs Biden's signature to pass . He has a long and clear stance on this. He may decriminalize which leaves it all state bound. Don't be fooled by Canopy's CEO
