After your post Hopeful, I went on my TD account and it says Trading Halted.  So usually when this happens the stock doesn't open at 9:30am for trading.  Wow.  It doesn't seem good.  In the mining industry they go to Sprott first, get the money and then announce.  Others I've seen they have secured the money already.  Is this a reflection of their creditworthiness.

 I read the post with the pros and cons,  I get it protects them somewhat from shorting, but I still don't get the concept versus other ways to get financing.

Question:  is there a good reason to go to the market in this way?
