I believe at some point a short squeeze will bring this back to over $20. The stock worth more even without this asset and I believe there will be a resolution for this situation.

I believe the referendum vote will be a YES for the mine, otherwise kiss good bye to the $7.5B in royalties over 20 years that the country really needs, kiss all of the jobs good bye direct/indirect, kiss future foreign investment good bye when they see what will happen if they invest $billions in this country = total loss = not worth the risk

  The  vote will be 99 to 1 a big no to the mine...they are a huge polluter of Panama ... I expect they will be fined billions of dollars ... bankruptcy for sure for the damage they have caused in Panama...

the government people who count the votes will no matter what announce a resounding YES in favour of the mine in order to bolster the countries $$$coffers and not scare off every future foreign investment and anger all 40k who had a good paying job to support their families and will be back to being poor and unemployed
