Alternate Symbol(s):  FTMDF

Fortune Minerals Ltd is a Canadian mining and mine development company focused on developing the NICO Cobalt-Gold-Bismuth Copper Project in the Northwest Territories. The company plans to build a hydrometallurgical plant in southern Canada to process NICO metal concentrates. Fortune also owns the satellite Sue-Dianne Copper-Silver-Gold Deposit located 25 km north of the NICO Project, which is a potential future source of incremental mill feed to extend the life.

RE: This doesn't add up?

RE: This doesn't add up?I think the lack of reaction is due to: a) financing for Fortune's share of Mt. Klappan still being unresolved, b) the extremely long timeline outlined in the press release. There's also the fact that POSCO seems to have gotten the better part of this deal, which is a bit disappointing given how long Fortune spent finding a partner.

For now they need to get the permitting process underway asap. If they can demonstrate Mt. Klappan won't end up in the same permitting hell as NICO, I think the share price will start to rise.
