stagnation has left much to be desired for this stock - Unlike Aurion Resources, this has been about 10+ years in the making with a huge disconnect between investors and management --- so while this is great news --- there are still some things left on the docket to get completed. The hardest thing for Junior miners in Canada right now is agreements with First Nations (think RoF) and while this was a major hurdle, there are 1 or 2 major hurdles left to jump. Funding and benefits agreement.
This has signified the development of the roads and will put the project back on track for development of the mine so construction on the road will probably begin in the new year but until a publicly released benefits agreement is done with the FN's group, there probably won't be a crazy jump. but showing the willingness of the groups to get the road agreements and approval done - it seems they are entering this in good faith.
As well, the TSX is sort of in a weird tailspin the last few days and it probably has something to do with the weed stocks going crazily up and down and people working on getting tax loss harvests set up before the end of year. bank stocks, telecoms, and tech have all been acting weirdly to great end of third quarters but are still down along with the rise of interest rates for US and Canada has left the market in a weird state. Junior miners are not normally effected by this or very little but because of how vast the market reaction is - it probably is playing its part - Lots of factors are at play and while this is great news. There is still a few more things before this becomes a slam dunk. There will be a mine, its just a matter of when now at this point.
