RE:PowerCo and Umicore est joint venture for Euro batt material

Yes I guess we will soon see how serious the feds are on the unbelievable opportunity we Canadians have to step in to the processing world of BMs CMS and RE's to supply some of the western world with finished product.

we could use 5 or 6 immediate plants ( 2-5 years) to start and probably have feed stock from Canada, challenging yes ! are we gonna step up to the plate on this and keep many of these high tech jobs in Canada or just ship what we can dig up and send to other countries?

The china syndrome is a problem, openly and heavily talked about the world over. S Korea and Japan have no problem to call a spade a spade in spite of thier knee deep involvement with china.

The world is changing and we need to do things differently to capitalize on it. The Americans have the homeland defence production act and they will use it when they want..what do we have? Provinces fighting over interprovincial barriers and red tape.

not long ago our government published info on what Prov / territory had what and where opportunities were .... we were in that list.

Team Canada needs to step up, 50 years after the great Canada Soviet series , we are in a our own 2022 BM CM world tournament where we have to fight for a position and can not just roll over on this.

it's my hope when this gov "fall" strategy comes out it better have the making of an actual plan with some balls, teeth and money to kick start our immersion into the next 50 years of electrification.... it's gonna happen with or with out us.

FT is ready to play and I hope they help us Roll.
