Keeping the faith.  There's too much wind in our sails to derail this.  Jim

True ...saling along Like a slow melting iceberg and waiting for it to flip, the best is yet to come....

Do the creditors effectively own all of Fortune's assets tomorrow?
Comment by Jim1712 on Nov 30, 2022 10:08am
The shareholders own the assets.  Jim

If management had any brains bankruptcy would be the way to go. Unless of course something is in the works. TTF

It feels like "something has been in the works" for years now. All the while the SP continues to fall and the illustrious management team does nothing. I do wonder what huge red flag is on this deposit unknown to the shareholders. Cheap takeout at at 0.065 bid yet no majors lined up. Unbelievably frustrating

Its frustrating more so because you are connecting share price to how management is preforming. Share price is based on public perception so it will continue to fall or go up based entirely on what the public is perceiving which very well could be the management, could be a bad quarter (cough AQN) but ultimately a share price is primarily driven by the public. Hmmmm, so if everybody loses in a bankruptcy that might be the motivation for current lenders to extend current deadline with certain perks thrown in. TTF

Perfect time to offer a truck load of shares at 6 cents to current lender. With an announcement the price could triple by tomorrow. A year extension please. Ughh TTF

I would say the only person(s) who tend to win are the folks who actually filed the bankruptcy proceedings. Everyone else tends to lose with rare folks who break even

All in my humble opinion: Obviously the silence (lack of news) does not help the share price, shareholders etc. It does seem/appear to help the bashers / shorters though. Disappointed but not surprised given the track record. Good luck to all longs, We wait a little longer for news ...

A bit concerned with no news today.  Have to be honest.  Jim

There are obvious signs for anyone who has experience working in the North.  The North is just an awful place to do business and you need a really economic deposit to risk dealing with all the challenges that government, weather and logistics provide. 1. Marginally economic deposit - a few years of production challenges could change it to a money losing operation 2. Outdated feasibility ...more

Doesn't quite work like that - the debt is guarenteed by certain assets. It is up to the loan organizer (debtor I shall call em) to decide what they are going to do with said debt (do they want to call it, extend it, let it fall through). They definitely have a right to call it but assets dont change hands like that, think of like a vehicle repo. There is normally a period of delinquency ...more
