My 2012 outlook

My 2012 outlook

Obviously whatever we all write here is our own outlook, our own biases, hopes, concerns, knowledge etc...but i wanted to emphasize that i am simply giving my outlook for 2012 - i re-read my last post and felt i came off more negative than i actually feel about this company so i want to set the record straight.

My belief is that 2012 will see us achieve profitability -- this is based on the notion that we will have a minimum of 200 auto dealers by end of the year issuing the same amount (hopefully more) of miles as they have been issuing to date. This is also based on the notion that we will not lose any of our core customers but will add a couple of new accounts. For the past while this board has been mostly focused on the auto dealer segment of the business - with good reason - but lets not forget that there are many other service businesses that futura can sign up in the auto sector and there is real growth opportunity there as well...not to mention the non-auto sectors.

My belief based on past performance/history is that the company will manage to create new partnerships with new selling groups in Canada and the US to help sell their program in to specialized segments -- I think that the partnership route is brilliant because it instantly creates an outsources sales team that has experience and feet on the ground and entry into the very customers futura wants to target...the more of this the better.

Based on history a financing will be done and it will be successful -- the only issue i have here is the amount of debt in the company - this needs to be dealt with in a meaningful way to allow the company breathing room to move forward -- either the debt holders need to convert to equity or they need to extent the debt a few more years (5 years or more would be excellent....not holding my breath though).

As i have said before - this business is like an annuity...customers are sticky and once you hit breakeven this thing will hum along...we are very very close. So long as FUT structures a friendly financing for us shareholders then we will all do well and i for one will be the first to buy more shares.

Hope my ramblings were not a total waste of time....enjoy the day
