RE: Processing Unit back with Futura The sellers accepted a deemed value of 5 cents.(I think this is the minimum price alloed by the TSX for stocks being issued from the treasury). From that point of view, it avoids excessive dilution, but also gives some hope that the sellers have some faith in the company. Futura is still in business so to speak.
I was away for 3 weeks and didn't notice any new car dealership sign-ups. It would stretch the imagination to believe that from over 3000 new car dealers in Canada, that only about 140 will accept Aeroplan. So something must be holding things back. From the June 29th news release, it appears they are working on some improvements: Futura is enhancing its IT issuance platform and loyalty performance management analytics reporting.
So maybe until this enhancement is completed, new launches are on hold?

Best to let the company issue their 2nd quarter results with any commentaries next week, before commenting myself. Locally here, the dealer which signed on is doing well. I photograghed their new courtesy car. Aeroplan logo visibility is key, Nicely done.
