RE: Remo Ferri Group of Automobiles

RE: Remo Ferri Group of AutomobilesThe Remo Ferri Group are already a sophisticated player in the auto sector. That means their marketing is top notch. Marketing expertise comes from the car makers and Remo Ferri as a dealership. Customer service is exceptional.

Now Futura comes along and can add more to the marketing mix.

Futura is a "value added' reseller for the Aeroplan product. It's great to offer reward miles, but it's the value added component contributed both by Aeroplan and Futura, which will drive sales.

That Futura has covered most manufacturer brands (as mentioned in the recent news release) is encouraging. I think it's voluntary for dealerships to join Aeroplan and may require car manufacturer approval. If that's the case, then it's a big step forward and paves the way for future partnerships.

It's not just about offering reward miles, but it's also about buildng more relevant consumer/retailer relationships.
