I think there will be acceptance of Aeroplan or the other miles porgrams in the US, if it can be proven worthwhile incremental revenue can be earned by the car dealerships. The loyalty cards used, will be enough to bring the customers in.
No complicated data collection is required. If Futura can determine the incremental benefit of the loyalty program for each dealership, it would be more than enough. Would also prove the loyalty program works.
I had the thought in the back of my mind, why didn't the big players, with all their insights and research, not already go into the car dealership market years ago? What makes this industry category so different. Is it tough to crack owing to its nature. Is this why Futura is still ironing out things?
Now I see Air Miles entering the same industry category and maybe, just maybe Futura got it right. 3 days left for the debt condition deadline.
Can a junior trump the big players? That would be news worthy.
