Fire sale? CCAA will ensure shareholder interests are not bypassed if they see through what debt holders are doing,if in fact they are even doing anything.
My own opinion: A house was on fire. The owner with a neighbour find a bucket of liquid. Owners thinks it's water, but neighbour says it gasoline. Owner of house tosses the gas onto the fire. Why did you do that the neighbour asked. Well, I have to do something to save the house said the owner.
