Finally, are people catching on the gold is a inflation hedge?

All the profitable gold stocks are going gang busters today.  Looks like people holding gold or miners will only take devalued dollars if buyers cought a lot more of them - inflation.

With all the gold miners moving in unison it is very apparent that algorathims control the trading.

Obvously the algos are programmed to forcast the macro direction.  That is an advantage to know because if you get the macro picture correct the algos will reinforce you.

Yes, I think the light finally came on about longer term inflation being a reality. Took a starting position today.

If the light came on about inflation, why is no one bidding up the price of gold. It shot up over concerns about the war in Ukraine. Now back down again. Not doing its job as an inflation hedge. But inflation is doing its job on the miners. Thier margins are gonna get crushed by higher costs of everything...maintenance Capex, drilling, labor, energy, etc. At this point in time and unless gold ...more
