Finally in the black

got stuck with this after holding Roxgold for many many years, although did ok with Roxgold and sold half, the remaining shares weren't so kind especially after adding some more later to FVI.  Was thinking of selling and get out but noticed something and need some technical analysis people's insight.
Let me begin by saying that I have very very basic knowledge of charts but after looking FVI's 10 year chart, there was a big gain (from about $4 to $12) from beginning of 2016 to mid 2016.
Then there was another repeat of that in almost exact same fashion in 2020.
Looking at 2024, are we going to repeat again. Seems to set ujp that way
Who knows maybe FVI is like Bitcoin, it halves every 4 years and shoots up. (smile)

One can only wait and see...... I also am in due to roxgold. Nice small producer. Hopeful that this will finally start getting better attention as it sells it's ag/au at recent market prices. I was in the same boat as you two. Luckily I averaged down a bit before this spike. Around $5.85 I believe. Got tired of waiting. Took my oppurtunity to get out with 20% profit. But it took a loooong time. If you're comfortable holding power to ya. Glta

Yes I'm comfortable holding. I'm uo 56% and have no intention of selling. Some say if you make money take it. But back in 2021, I made 4x my money on this one. I see no reason why it can't happen again with the price of gold holding at these levels. Next quarter will be good

that's why I'm thinking on taking a chance and holding it. Price of gold is high and may get higher and maybe we can repeat those 2 peaks that occurred 4 years apart in 2016 and 2020......hopefully 2024 will follow same pattern
