Bluechipper Stockinvestor and anyone else
What are the types of conditions that attract you to a specific stock? I recognize this might be a very simple question that one could answer by saying "go look at the financials " but what I've noted on this board and from speaking to others is every person, especially persons who have a lot of experience, they have specific qualities or indicators that they look for prior to investing. Me, I'm an analyst and my training is specific. I can pull together enormous volumes of data and synthesis an understanding of what's happening, causes and what could likely happen. As you can see from my posts I've always focused on the larger global outlook for the price of gold, which has not even begun to take off. If you think about it - every country and bank in the world will be purchasing gold to stabilize their dollar value. Almost every precious metal is of value and this time this will be a global issue and not continent specific. What I would like to know from anyone on this board is what do you look for in a company besides just the figures. If it's just figures provided on the financials what specifically?
