RE:dedGuzman was pushed for sure. It seems like just yesterday all that happened. There may be more scrutiny now in the mining business. But billions are still lost on a regular basis due to hopeful projects that don't become mines. I bought a wad of wallbridge mining when it's market cap was 1.2 billion. Now it's 200 million. The big shots are always out there looking for that big one. They identify one that looks good. Then a year or two later they discover a better one and they drop the first one like a hot potatoe
