News on looking at the possibility of that came out in Aug 2020, but not a word on its progress since....probably dead.

If you listened to the last investor call, it's dead.  Toby said they are going to do the opposite, what did they say... a 10M share buyback from a big holder... something like that.

bad news. From my understanding, real estate within CIBT does not help the stock price. it is huring the stock price

Classic Toby...  make an announcement, think everyone will forget, then continually disappoint.  I'm sure that the "big holder" will get treated to these shares at a capped price, so this is NOT good news..  frankly there hasn't been any good news for years.  Complete failure to monetize anything for shareholders.  Congrats Toby and team on ...more

TSX up 21.7% this year, second year of double digit gains..  in line with the US markets as well.  Great job bucking the trend Toby.  Years of futility.  Start working for shareholders.

We lust be seeing this new buying here... what with the share price at 62 cents and like 10-20k shares traded per day.  Great job creating shareholder value Toby.  Two thumbs up.  Google "CEO" maybe to understand the role...

Another special day...  that shareholder looking for that 10 million share pile is going slow... 500 big shares today...  at that rate, wow, gonna take a while to accumulate that 10 mil...  maybe Toby can buy all the shares on the day high with Mackie and my money like he has the last 5 years, then cross them at a discount to the "big buyer"....  what a load ...more

Hey Toby... with 200 shares traded today how manyndays will it take the "big buyer" to buy 10 Million??  Hmmmm. My math is probably longer than I'd like to hear.  About as realistic and probable as most of your other plans....

He didn't say it was dead. He said they are working on scaling their real estate portfolio to make it larger as at its current size, it wouldn't be worth spinning it off into a REIT.

"He said they are working on scaling their real estate portfolio to make it larger as at its current size, it wouldn't be worth spinning it off into a REIT".  This statement makes sense, so the question is why did Toby announced this publicly 2 years ago? Most of real estate developments were just in the planning stages only, nothing has broken ground yet. If this spinning off ...more

Why? because he's full of BS. He tells you what you wont to hear. Dont vote for someone with this type of character. When someone doesnt tell the truth, you dont know whats real or fiction. So what do you do? dont beleive a word they say.

For all of you that seem to be so negative about everything to do with this company, (you know who you are) you know you have an option right? You can sell your shares and move on, pretty simple really, why spend so much time complaining. I for one will hang in there and have confidence in my investment and not complain about things I know nothing about. I'd say they have navigated through ...more

So, as a shareholder, one should not question the management at all? I still believe in the company and my investment choice but I think the company should and does allow me to raise questions of it's decisions and operations along the way wouldn't you agree? That's my 2 cents.

Move on? I wonder how many of us did move / are moving on? Checkout MainStreet Equity's last five years. They own student housing as well but don't use LPs to raise capital. That CEO has taken a different approach. They don't payout dividends (like a REIT) - all money goes back into growth. All benefits go into shareholder pockets. Is CIBT's CEO's long term plan using ...more
