That sell off could have been for any reason... other than the pd price dropping - which it won't for long. I agree- fear and jumping gun.
If I was was ontario govt- I'd be doing everything to get this mine going and pumping provincial support here. A good way to stick it to liberals while they're down.
Rate hike doesn't help anyone, but with all the critical mineral hype this year, the liberals can't afford to have another failed promise... and we are front runners for them. Hold on people, and keep your shaky hands stiff. We'll get there.

It's possible shares were dumped due to someone kicking the bucket..."When a Canadian resident dies, they are treated as if they sold all of their capital assets immediately before death for a fair market value price." It happens all the time.
