Rising Ni Prices

Rising Ni PricesCalifDreaming. Good Post. You are correct to note extremely high cost of shipping/importing Ni in Saprolite to/into China. Even plus 2% Ni from New Caledonia needs much more than $10/lb Ni plus substantial surcharges for Crude (or coal equivalents) above $50/BBL. In addition, the environmental hazards with handling and especially backyard melting Saprolite to make Ni containing Pig Fe are horrible. Ni prices are increasing due partly to the above; also now heading towards Norilsk Ni non-shipping April-May period. Added to this are Ni project delays, capital overruns & severe existing producer maintenance/ore reserve problems. Count on GMI greatly benefiting.
