Gennum as an acquisition target
Gennum is being looked at across the border as an acquisition target. It's one of the few mid cap Canadian chip companies left and with the recent buy out of Dalsa, Gennum solid portfolio of products, strong cash position and market growth make it hard to pass.
The shares have been quietly accumulating for the last 5 months. There is a US investment bank buying up the shares last little while in anticipation. To long term holders of Gennum enjoy the ride.
