Not sure what is meant by ES 'buying into' the 3 Aces deposit as being orogenic. It obviously is, according to Goldfarb, the world's leading expert on them. A few of Dr Goldfarb's discussions ot 3 aces and orogenic deposits in general are posted somewhere here. In the last ES interview also posted here) it's obvious that ES believes in 3 Aces, but just one of many stocks he feels will go crazy as Gold continues the ascent. Also ES got 10 mill shares at around 8-10c prior to the 2016 runup, of which he sold 2 mill in the $1.70+ range so he was riding free for the last 2 years.
As Kaiser summarizes, being orogenic is good and bad - good because of the high grades - bad because the clumpy nature makes it hard to do a RE (something that steered Rick Rule away early on).
The bulk sampling report is going to be critical. If bad, maybe get a chance to buy back in the 20s or probably 30s, otherwise think there could be more of the hockey stick happening. And if a JV is announced, all bets are off. The train will leave the station. So hard to judge exit and entrance,
