Just a hunch...

I don't usually opine on the meaning of stock price and share purchase activity (and by no means do I have any stock market expertise) BUT I'm going out on a limb. Based on what appears to be the recent pressure to keep the stock price from pushing up (behind XBC) and the side ways movement and even some downward pressure recently, very quiet on the news / contract front, they are ok but not great cash position, they have upcoming loan payment in 2021 if I recall correctly,... I wouldn't be surprised if the company took advantage of the recent run up in the stock price to do a financing and put some money in the coffers AND expand the retail coverage of the stock, increase the float etc. The timing in this sector has been probably primed by XBC and it wouldn't take much to get a bought deal done for them.

Time is of the essence given many are calling for a pullback in Q1, so if that's the case they have to get it done ASAP. Time will tell.

Govt bailouts ...more

I hope in 4 to 8 weeks , couple contracts to be signed and depend on how big ? If $15 mil up then sp could swing to $4 over then financing announcement $3.75 ??? That's my hope and guessing .

Looks like the "hunch" from exactly a week ago turned out to be bang on. No PR news because they were busy with the financing... with TD as the lead no less with a quck close (for a Cdn co). Makes perfect sense - they know the space having worked with XBC and their analyst just updated their XBC target price (i.e. increased their target price on XBC significantly from $12.50 to $17.50 ...more
